My son and I love to snorkel, he has been doing it since he was 4 years old. The water is so still in this area and there is little to no current. This makes it the perfect spot to teach a kid how to snorkel.
3. Cool off at the beach
The sun in Honolulu and actually all of Hawaii is bright and hot. At around 1pm your are going to want to have the kids shaded or in the water. The beaches in Ko Olina or the pools at the hotels in the area are the best place for them to be around this time. Our kids go in and out of the water to cool off throughout the day.
