How To Choose The Most Comfortable Shirt to Travel In?
When we travel dressing for comfort should always be your main priority, this is why we want people to know what type of shirt is the most comfortable to travel in! Wear a t-shirt or a tank top under your hoodie or sweater so that you can regulate your temperature evenly. Being too hot onboard or too cold can be extremely uncomfortable and make you resent your next flight as you get off the plane feeling disgusting.
Material definitely plays a significant role in the comfort factor. I choose to stay away from cotton, bamboo or linen shirts as these all will absorb your sweat causing “sweat spots”, this can gross when your on a plane if it is hot, these materials also trap heat. Polyester and Rayon are better as they do not trap heat, however they do not absorb any of the sweat. There are some mixed materials that provide the perfect mix such as cotton/lycra that both absorbs sweat and moisture and pushes it away. Or my personal favourite Polyester/Elastane mix that pushes heat away when too hot, is breathable to evaporates moisture, and cools. This blend is also stretch for comfort!
I choose lower cut shirts so they do not constrict my throat when I am trying to get ready for sleep, and nothing oversized as I do not want it hanging or pulling on anything. Choosing the right shirt can make a huge difference to your comfort when you travel. Women often like a tight tank top gym style and most men enjoy a gym style t-shirt or tank top. There are many brand name and aftermarket that sell these types of shirts and materials inexpensively. Check out Amazon to find something really well priced and proper fitting.
