This can be a very memorable experience seeing the whales in their natural habitats. If you ever hit Turks and Caicos between January and April, when the soothing winds are brought off the Atlantic, then be sure that you have salt cay on your list. Thursday night Fish Fry

No outing to the island of Provo could be finished without spending a Thursday night testing all the new and salty enjoyments of the famous T and C Fish Fry. This neighbourhood occasion that sees locals mixing with travellers has been occurring on the sands of Bight Park near Grace Bay for years.

It makes for a night of culture, live samba, dancing, and laid-back Carib tunes. Gracious and – obviously – a portion of the best grilled fish cuts you’ll ever taste! What’s more, when the sun goes down and the rum turns out, the occupant Junkanoo Band assumes control, serenading everybody into the early hours with their steel drums and singing.

Snorkel Smith’s Reef

Known for its high visibility and ease to get  to from the sands of Grace Bay or the breakwaters of Turtle Cove. Smith’s Reef is one of the best spots to snorkel or dive near the island. Under the ocean there’s a horde of corals in every single diverse shading, all sprouting and jutting from the sandbanks and the seabed in blasts of white and yellow and orange.

Governor’s Beach

This is one of the most popular beaches on Turks and Caicos and is a must see if you are there. Named after the amazing house of the Governor that stands near the sands, the spot is frequented by cruisers, whose ships dock nearby at Cockburn Town. There are beach bars and restaurants nearby. Another cool sight at this beach and a cool reason to visit is this large ship that washed up in the last hurricane. It is called the mega one triton and all efforts to remove it have been unsuccessful making it a really neat thing to see on Turks and Caicos.

Visit the caverns of the Conch Bar Caves

The Conch Bar Caves are in the very heart of Middle Caicos Island, cutting into the limestone shake quaint little inns slopes there to shape an underground maze of passages and streets.

Stays of early Lucayan tribespeople were found here as well, yet history buffs ought to pick rather to visit the adjacent Indian Caves, where there are tons more ancient rarities and relics to see.

Wonder at the natural beauty of Chalk Sound

Peppered with the incidental bunch of rising limestone shake, the Chalk Sound is a standout amongst the most wonderful regular destinations on the island.

The endless minimal geologic bulges here simply top over the permanently turquoise waters in blossoms of green grass and tough stone which are all now assigned as a national stop.
